I've been happy with Bruce and his team for around a decade or so now. They've assisted with my business and personal taxes, along with filing other financial documents. After years of getting help from family and friends on my tax returns, I decided to finally get professional assistance. A family member recommended me to call Bruce and at least get a consultation with my taxes. I called the office and spoke with Lena who assisted me in setting up my profile, getting my documentation in order, and setting up an appointment during a time that was most convenient for me. Bruce was easy to talk to who helped me understand things that I am doing wrong and things that I can improve on with handling my money and to maximize my tax return. Bruce and the staff at Toone made me feel relaxed and confident that I am getting the best service and advice possible. My tax return was processed immediately upon payment. On tax day, it was discovered that Toone & Assoc had both my ssn and address incorrect. In speaking with Bruce Toone (at 4pm on tax day) he assured me it was no big deal, the return hadn't been filed & that they would correct the errors. Seconds later (while still on the phone with Bruce Toone) I received an auto generated email confirmation from Toone & Assoc that the return had been filed (with the incorrect information and without my approval). Bruce continued to say that the return hadn't been filed and finally conceded that it had indeed been filed but that it would be corrected. Toone made no effort to have the return corrected. The IRS flagged the return as potentially fraudulent and I have spent the last three years untangling the mess created by Toone. The first step in untangling the mess was to provide the IRS with details from the return but Toone failed to provide me with a copy of the return & didn't reply to either emails nor voice mails, saying later that Bruce was out of state for a period of time. Six months later, I was finally able to receive a copy of the return and begin the process of straightening things out.

Toone and Associates is a wonderful company with wonderful people. Speaking on behalf of someone who worked there, Amanda Toone is a wonderful person who made so much effort to help me in so many ways in my professional and personal life. Unfortunately, I didn't work there at the right time in my life. I had a lot going on, therefore I was unable to stay employed due to my attendance, but I enjoyed working there so much, and they gave me a wonderful reference after my employment with them that helped me get a new job. The location is beautiful, Bruce and Amanda truly care about their employees and their clients, and they are all about family. The rest of the staff are great people as well who are kind and work extremely hard. I highly recommend them as a business and a place of employment.
