Avisesh Sahgal5 StarOur practice has been with Physician Billing Service (PBS) for nearly 9 years. PBS has consistently provided very prompt and knowledgeable billing and collections services. As we have grown and expanded services PBS has been an excellent partner in maintaining a prompt return on our account receivable. Claims are filed promptly and prompt feedback is given for any issues that arise with a claim. Michele and her staff are very attentive to the details of each claim to make sure the claim goes through with as little difficulty as possible. Everyone is very personable and dedicated to high quality professional service. I highly recommend PBS for billing and collections.Tuesday 28th May 2013
W. L.1 StarAs a PATIENT with direct experience with this company I urge physicians to look elsewhere for medical billing services that both they and their patients can work with long term.
Paula Luff with PBS billing has been so rude and difficult to work with for YEARS that I left my doctors office because of how many bad experiences I had with her. After discussing my experiences in the office I learned from others in the waiting room that they ALSO found Paula to be both rude AND make frequent errors that she does not acknowledge and we as patients have to research and correct.
My final straw was spending a week trying to get her to return my phone call OR email, then showing up and being refused care at my drs office bc PAULA had not processed my payments. While I waited, the office contacted Paula who of course did not acknowledge her mistake. The office and doctor both apologized profusely-- they have witnessed Paula's poor work many times.
But apologies don't make change so I will not use any practice that bills through this company that seemingly has no expectations of job performance. I have started urging family and friends to find out how a medical practice handles billing and through what company BEFORE getting established as a patient.Thursday 8th December 2022
Jo Ann Price5 StarThe owner and staff at PBS is the most professional group of people that I
have had the pleasure of working with over my entire 24+ years in the medical
profession. They are diligent in submitting the claims in a timely fashion and
very competent at collecting from the insurance companies and patients as well.
Their paperwork is immaculate and accurate which means the claims are paid in a
timely fashion the first time submitted in most cases. We have been with PBS
for 9+ years and the collection rate is approximately 95% which is exceptional
compared to the company we previously used which was about 45%. I would
recommend using PBS above all other medical billing companies based on past
experience and comments from friends that work in offices that outsource their

While employed at PBS as a medical billing specialist, my goal each day was to approach my job with the highest level of thoroughness and integrity possible, representing our physicians as I would want to be represeented myself. I valued the team approach, having the ability to conference with the other knowledgeable and experienced specialists on a variety of billing-related questions and approaches. Michael Wehrmeyer5 StarI recently was diagnosed with a severely damaged rotary cuff shoulder injury and was subsequently advised that a reverse shoulder replacement would be my only alternative for restoring reasonable usage and movement.
With my typical 70/30 employees health benefit I was sure (ahead of time) that I would have many questions where uncovered benefit bills were concerned. My billing representative, Melissa at PBS was helpful, considerate and cheerful throughout.
Though the shoulder remains "a work in process" my understanding of
the charges, not covered by my health insurance, I understand and am at ease with.
