Enrolled Agents (EAs) are the only federally-licensed tax practitioners granted unlimited practice rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS and are authorized to advise, represent, and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entities with tax-reporting requirements. Any tax professional claiming to know everything about the tax code is pulling your leg. Because we want to keep current, we voluntarily maintain memberships in multiple national and state organizations, all which require annual continuing education credits.

Good accountant and friendly tax services. The reason for my rating is that the cost was 3x the cost I've ever paid any other accountant for tax preparation services. When I first inquired about their services, I was told it was based on complexity. I assumed the cost would be in the ballpark of others. It was not. Cost was ~1K and I don't own a business, nor any LLC's. Again, he seems good at what he does, but for a W-2 filer any potential tax saving gained are probably negated by his cost.
