Why is it that Jackson Hewitt tax preparers never suggest to people they should use coupons for lowering the cost to file?! Since the pandemic starred in 2020, I've been charged over $300 to file my taxes. What ever happened to $150, $175 or basically any price under $200 for filing??? In 2021 the lady in Hampton, VA told me the charges would be over $300 and never made any attempt to help lower the charges. She just said that's the price now a day that's it. This year, 2022 I went to another location in Northern Virginia (Chantilly) and here they go again with the over $300 charges for filing. The tax preparer said how do I want to pay for the charges that were over $300. I told her what is up with these high prices for filing?? Why don't they try to help people out by letting them know they can lower the cost of filing by using coupon codes online. This is such a disservice to customers. I work in the customer service field and my job always drills into us to make suggestions to help people in every way possible. Jackson Hewitt may try to get you the best refund for your taxes BUT they don't try to get you the lowest charges for filing. It's like we must pay over $300 or go somewhere else. Horrible customer service from Jacskon Hewitt!!

We've always been please with Mark at Jackson Hewitt since 1992. He has always been very professional and had our taxes done in a timely mannera. He is very responsive with any questions we may have even throughout the year. Thanks Mark!

I have been filing my taxes with JH for years now. I used to just go bc I wanted things filed correctly. Ah, but then I met Marybeth. This would be my third year with Marybeth. She is absolutely the best! She’s always so helpful and does her best to keep me updated with any/all changes. She’s informative, friendly, efficient and thorough. I know the staff at JH are all great, but I can’t see myself using anyone else.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I took paperwork to the Manassas office - 8339 Sudley Rd. They said they'd call me. A week later I called. I only got a call center. I could never get the office directly only a call center. The person on the phone told me "If they didnt call you, your taxes aren't ready. Just drive over to the office." I live about 35 minutes away without traffic. I finally went in and the lady promised she would look into it, work on it and call me later in the afternoon. She never called so I went in about 4 days after that. They could not find my paperwork! She checked 3 file cabinets and kept calling the guy who took my paperwork to no avail.Two weeks wasted - and I needed that paperwork to finalize a real estate transaction. There was always ONE person in the office and the place is in desperate need of some TLC. For such a well known company, I am shocked at the service and the appearance of the place.

I have used them for my personal and business for 20 years. Always timely in getting my questions answered clearly and correctly. Very helpful staff Jackie! and keeping me up to date with the ever changing business tax laws. Mark and Mike Kenny are the best!
