I must report horrible service provided by Daniel Suissa of Heymann Suissa & Stone. He failed to file one of my Federal tax forms despite my authorization for e-filing three weeks prior to the required due date. He also billed me for his services within that time frame which led me to believe the filing had occurred. He subsequently filed it five and a half months after the due date. When the IRS issued a costly penalty for the late filing, he attempted to cover it up by claiming to have filed a request for an extension. This was never done. It took intervention from my Congressional office to get a resolution from the IRS. Not only did Mr. Suissa lie in his response to me, he attempted to discourage me from contacting my Congressman and stopped returning my phone calls. I have requested a refund of his fees for this filing, but have not heard back from him. Be forewarned!!! Do not use this firm.

In my many years of investing and business affairs, I cannot recall a more disappointing experience than working with Heymann Suissa & Stone. My sense was that their service was poor, their prices were rather excessive, and they did not own up to their errors, but rather billed me to correct them. On the other hand, their attorney pointed out that it is not fraudulent to merely provide overpriced service, and the judge noted that professional services firms like Heymann Suissa & Stone do not have a legal obligation to be honorable. I am sorry I chose them and hope others do not share my very poor experience. - David Rubenstein
