Abra1 StarBurman FORGOT ABOUT FILING MY TAXES in 2022! I was a client for two years and last year I didn't hear anything from him after I MET WITH HIM IN PERSON IN FEBRUARY when I delivered all of my pertinent documents. I didn't hear anything from him in April, so I called mid April to check my status and his wife called me back and told me "he FORGOT". WOW, ok so they filed late and told me I didn't owe anything so I didn't worry until I received a notice from the IRS YESTERDAY, stating my business OWES + PENALTIES?!!
I just got off of the phone from the IRS and they said the fine was from NOT FILING ON TIME! This was 100% his fault and to top it off, the IRS state he didn't file until SEPTEMBER 18TH?!!! I HAD NO CLUE UNTIL YESTERDAY!!!
I 100% support local business people since I am one myself, but I cannot in good conscious let this information be hidden from others who may avoid this negligence if possible
AVOID THIS ACCOUNTANT!
I also just discovered that he never filed my annual report as well, so instead of just paying the $300.00 dollars for this year, I had to pay $600.00 because I am a GHOST. I TRUSTED THIS ACCOUNTANT AND I GOT GHOSTED.
